Kick out Trump’s nukes! Join the national demonstration at RAF Lakenheath, 20 September

It's clear that US nuclear weapons have now been deployed to Britain for the first time since 2008, following the tracking and sightings of special nuclear flights landing at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk. This is a major escalation by the Trump administration that makes Britain a target in the event of any nuclear war.

From his reckless nuclear brinksmanship with Russia, to his illegal bombing campaign of Iran’s nuclear facilities – and now the deployment of the deadly B61-12 nuclear bombs across Europe, the actions of President Donald Trump is making the world more dangerous and increasing the risk of nuclear conflict.

As opposition grows to his state visit, planned for 17 to 19 September, we need to send a strong message that neither Trump nor his nuclear bombs are welcome in Britain.

The British government is completely at odds with public opinion too. Polling shows that 61% of the population don’t want US nukes in Britain. So, join CND to call for Keir Starmer to kick out Trump's nukes on Saturday, 20 September!

End British military collaboration with Israel

Thank you to everyone who joined Saturday's protest at RAF High Wycombe, home of RAF High Command. 2,000 people formed a human chain around the main fence of the base to highlight its role in coordinating spy flights from RAF Akrotiri over Gaza. This is the latest action to ramp up the pressure on the British government to end its military collaboration with Israel and impose a complete arms embargo and sanctions regime on the country.

Since December 2023, more than 600 of these flights have taken place with intelligence then fed to the Israeli military for use in targeted assassinations and air strikes which have killed over 60,000 Palestinians.

TRUMP NOT WELCOME: Sign the joint petition and join the protest!

Donald Trump is scheduled to make his second state visit to Britain next month and CND will join the national demonstration in London on Wednesday, 17 September. We'll be bringing our 'Kick Trump's Nukes Out' message to raise awareness of the arrival of US nuclear weapons to Britain and build support for the demonstration at RAF Lakenheath.
