On Tuesday our campaign is facing our CRITICAL END OF QUARTER FUNDRAISING DEADLINE and we need your help to close corporate tax loopholes and create a brighter future for California.

Schools & Communities First is a coalition of hardworking Californians who are taking on corporate special interests so we can invest in what we all value: better schools, a stronger health care system, and a tax system that levels the playing field for small businesses. Here are just TWO REASONS why support from grassroots backers like you is crucial to Schools & Communities First's success:

Our opposition is bank-rolled by massive corporations, like out-of-state railroad companies, who insist on abusing a commercial property tax loophole instead of paying their fair share. That's why every dollar from people across California makes a difference!

Our ability to reach voters in-person is limited by COVID-related safety guidelines. Our opponents have committed to spending over $100 MILLION to keep the status quo in place, so we need to stretch every dollar as much as possible to reach every voter!

Schools & Communities First is a people-powered movement, and we need your help to win this November.

Will you help us break another campaign grassroots fundraising record before our IMPORTANT END OF QUARTER DEADLINE?

Together, we can defeat corporations protecting the status quo and build a more equitable future for all of us in California.

The Schools & Communities First initiative reclaims $12 billion every year for California’s schools and local communities by closing commercial property tax loopholes benefiting a fraction of corporations and wealthy investors. The initiative benefits residents and small businesses by exempting homeowners and renters from any changes while implementing new tax relief for small businesses.

Paid for by Schools and Communities First - Sponsored by a Coalition of Social Justice Organizations Representing Families and Students. Committee major funding from:
