John:

Today is Black Women’s Equal Pay Day.

That means, on average, Black women in the United States who work full time, year-round must work nearly EIGHT extra months to be paid as much as white, non-Hispanic men were paid last year.

And that’s completely unacceptable!

We're helping raise awareness today by co-hosting the #BlackWomensEqualPay tweet storm, participating in the TIME'S UP Pay Up campaign, sharing resources like this fact sheet and a new video, and amplifying the work of some incredible partners.
