NYGOP Chairman Langworthy to Call on Legislature to Rein in Cuomo’s Executive Power
Ruling in Religious Lawsuit, Changing of Phase 4 Goalposts Make Clear Cuomo is Abusing Power
New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy will call on the legislature to convene in session to rein in Governor Cuomo’s executive power at a press conference in Albany tomorrow at 2PM on the steps of the Capitol.
Last week, a judge ruled against Cuomo in a lawsuit affirming his unconstitutional restrictions of First Amendment rights. Cuomo also arbitrarily changed requirements of Phase Four opening, sparking widespread outrage among localities and businesses that met the benchmark requirements.
Chairman Langworthy will also be available to comment on the results of Tuesday’s election results and take other off-topic questions. Masks and social distancing will be in effect.
