John,
I’m back in West Michigan during the August in-district work period. I’m meeting with folks across West Michigan, listening to your concerns, and bringing your voices back to Washington.
Unfortunately, the contrast between that kind of constructive engagement and what we’re seeing in the House couldn’t be sharper. Just before this work period began, House Republicans broke their own record for the longest vote in history because of infighting over cryptocurrency legislation. While they were mired in political games, I was focused on solving problems and delivering results.
But here’s the truth: progress on the issues that matter most to our community won’t happen as long as extremists control the House.
If we want to move common-sense legislation forward and stop the chaos that keeps us from getting things done, we need to hold this seat and help elect the allies who will work with us to deliver.
Will you chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can today to help keep West Michigan strong and build a House majority that will pass real solutions?
