Right now, we’re working hard to reach our end-of-quarter fundraising goal to ensure that our campaign retains its incredible momentum -- especially since we know that Republican special interests plan to pour millions into our district in TV ad buys this fall in an attempt to flip CA-39 red.
It’s crucial that we send a message of strength at this critical juncture, John. Our campaign’s fundraising report will become public after Tuesday’s filing deadline -- and pundits and our opponents alike are watching us closely. If we’re outraised, Young Kim and her dark-money interests will feel vindicated in their mission to take back this seat and will ramp up their attacks against the robustness of our movement.
