When our nation’s Founding Fathers gathered in Philadelphia nearly 250 years ago to sign the Declaration of Independence, they didn’t know what the future held in store for the United States.

But they understood that to build a successful, thriving democracy, they couldn’t just look to the past. They had to do something different.

John, I still carry that lesson with me to this day. And that’s why, as your Governor, one of my top priorities is this: Get sh*t done.

We delivered more than 90 million free breakfast meals for K-12 students last year — because our children and grandchildren should have the freedom to focus on their classes, not an empty stomach.

We’ve created thousands of good-paying jobs in rural, urban, and suburban communities alike so every Pennsylvanian has the opportunity to earn a decent living and get ahead.

And we've defended the right to choose from those who sought to tear it down — ensuring that every Pennsylvanian has the freedom to start a family on their own terms.
