There’s never been more evidence that voters are fed up with far-right Republican policies, John:
Just recently, Republican Rep. Doug LaMalfa held his first town hall meeting since Donald Trump’s Big Ugly Bill became law. And despite his Northern California district being reliably red, he was faced with a packed house of voters angry about his betrayal.
He received emotional questions on how he could support a bill that is going to devastate the region's health infrastructure — including cuts that could force more rural hospitals to close in the district.
All across California, voters are rising up against the Members of Congress who betrayed their interests by slashing healthcare and food assistance while giving tax cuts to billionaires. Now it’s up to us to amplify their message and anger. Will you pitch in a donation to our Fight Back Fund to defeat the swing seat Republicans who turned their back on California? [[link removed]]

Staffers passed out green and red placards to participants to signal whether they agreed with what Rep. LaMalfa was saying or not.
The meeting was a sea of red signs in opposition — along with a constant stream of boos and jeers.
Rep. LaMalfa repeated Donald Trump’s same tired line, that there will be no healthcare cuts — only elimination of waste, fraud, and abuse. But the crowd already knows that the math isn’t mathing.
Rep. LaMalfa then tried to blame Gov. Gavin Newsom, which also went over like a lead balloon.
Our message is starting to get out there, John. The energy for change is mounting. More and more, voters understand how terrible this administration has been for them and their families. Now we need to amplify their voices further and make sure every single swing seat voter knows too. Will you pitch in a donation to amplify the voices of everyday Californians? [[link removed]]
