As I travel through my district, I’ve had so many Iowans tell me how excited they are about the One Big Beautiful Big getting signed into law.
And there’s no better place to talk about how this bill will support our farmers than at the Iowa State Fair, so I hope to see you out there this weekend!
By making permanent the 20% small business deduction and providing death tax relief for over 2 million family farms, families no longer have to bear these tax burdens and can keep their farms in the family for future generations. This will help family farms and Main Street businesses thrive, which will help rural Iowa thrive.
On top of that, we are improving and strengthening the farm safety net, expanding critical ag trade programs to support our producers, and expanding access to crop insurance options.
We are finally going to reverse some of the damage done to the ag economy during the failed Biden years. This bill will lift everyone up, especially our rural communities.
I was proud to fight to get this bill across the finish line and will continue working with President Trump to deliver for all Iowans.
