As you’ve probably heard, Donald Trump called Greg Abbott and red states to rig the 2026 election by redrawing Congressional lines.

When Trump tries to rewrite the rules, Gov. Gavin Newsom and California Strong Democrats move to protect the outcome: Fair elections and real democracy.

Gov. Newsom is calling for a special election to defend fair elections, counter Trump’s election rigging, and for the use of nonpartisan nationwide redistricting commissions.

When 2025 started, we didn’t know Donald Trump would start this fight. But we need to be ready - no matter what. That’s why we are now aiming to raise $20,000 before the banks open at 9am on Monday to fund our work to defend democracy. Will you pitch in?
