The Lincoln Project

Friend,

Death, taxes, and somebody from Donnie’s inner circle leaking stuff to the press:

What a weird route for the President of the United States to take.

We think that pretty much everybody can have sympathy for the victims of child human trafficking? Haven’t we as a society come together and declared that human trafficking and pedophilia are two of the worst crimes a human being can commit? Like, why go after the victims of Jeffrey Epstein?

Oh, right. It’s because Epstein was Trump’s best friend and those “wonderful secrets” Trump was talking about likely involved Epstein and underaged girls in some capacity.

Trump can occupy Washington. He can change the recipe of Coke. He can host the Kennedy Center Honors. He can try any number of boneheaded distractions. It’s up to us to make sure this narrative doesn’t die. There’s a suspected pedophile in the White House and he’s done everything but clear his name.

If Donald Trump isn’t in the Epstein files, then Donald Trump should have no problem releasing the Epstein files. Plain and simple. When Congress gets back to work in September, we want this to be at the top of the list. Help us make sure Trump can’t sweep this under the rug >>
