Suquamish Regional Stormwater Project: Construction Begins Late August
We’re reaching out to share important information about the upcoming Suquamish Regional Stormwater Treatment Facility project. Construction is scheduled to begin in late August 2025 and will continue through March 2026.
This project will install an underground stormwater treatment system designed to reduce pollutants entering Puget Sound. Additional improvements include accessible sidewalk upgrades, a new crosswalk, and an improved outfall structure.
During construction, residents should expect:
-
Work hours are usually 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding county holidays)
-
Noise and vibrations from equipment
-
Traffic delays and a planned detour around the work zone
-
Limited on-street parking in the area
We will continue to provide updates as the project progresses.
Your patience and cooperation are appreciated as we complete this important infrastructure improvement for our community and our environment.
Thank you,
