The dreaded “Summer Slump” is something we face every year. Families are enjoying their vacations, and folks are spending more time outside than thinking about the next elections. As a result, our fundraising numbers usually take a dip.
Typically, things start to pick back up in early August. But John, that’s just not happening yet. Compared to last month, the average number of people who have chipped in to emails like these has cut in half.
Truth be told, I’m worried, John. If we don’t get things back on track soon, we’ll have to slash our budgets across the board — jeopardizing our chance to win across Montana next year.
That’s why I have to ask: Will you chip in $5, $25, or anything you can right now to help us regroup before tomorrow’s night’s fundraising deadline? If we continue to miss goals like these, mark my words, it will come back and bite us in the weeks leading up to Election Day next year. [[link removed]]
