John,
As things ramp up at our member institutions ([link removed]) at the start of a new school year, ISN has been busy rolling out new programs and welcoming new stakeholders into our work!
Jon Gromek recently began as ISN's director of justice formation and action ([link removed]) , a new leadership role within the organization. Additionally, Lauren Morten, James Erler, and James Cappabianca joined ISN's board of directors ([link removed]) .
Our Ignatian Voices for Justice Podcast ([link removed]) just released a new episode ([link removed]) featuring two young leaders collaborating with Discerning Deacons ([link removed]) and promoting the Feast of Saint Phoebe Virtual Prayer and Celebration ([link removed]) on September 3, 2025.
Finally, two of ISN's summer programs significantly impacted participants, who returned to their respective communities more equipped to further justice action. The Migration Justice Summit ([link removed]) took place in late June in Chicago, and in late July, the Catholic Ethical Purchasing Alliance (CEPA) hosted a two-day experience ([link removed]) that immersed faculty participants in the garment industry of Los Angeles.
Keep an eye out for ISN's various upcoming programs, including the Justice Educators Collective ([link removed]) that just released the first of four webinars designed to support religious educators in bringing Catholic Social Teaching (CST) to life in high school settings.
In solidarity,
[link removed] Hanson-Quintana ([link removed])
Director of Communications
