I just got a quick update from my finance team, and I want to level with you: we’re a bit behind on our mid-month fundraising goals.

Now, I’m not one for panic, but anyone can see that Trump and the Republican Party are doing real damage right now.

They’ve pushed through a reckless, cruel budget that protects billionaires and slashes support for working families. They’re attacking our freedoms, and putting the interests of the ultra-wealthy over everyday Americans.

While Congress is out of session, Republicans have been holed up in their districts and hiding from their constituents, who are demanding answers.

Meanwhile, I’ve been on the ground in Colorado this month, hearing directly from families who are worried about rising prices, housing costs, and how they’re going to afford child care.

I’m also working to support new Democratic leaders across the country who will help flip the House and bring a new generation of leadership to Congress.
