Hi there, Archie here — Tina’s husband.

Things are very different from the last time we talked, and I know these times are challenging for a lot of us. I hope you and your loved ones are doing alright.

Tina and I have been practicing social distancing and staying home, and trying to get a few walks in. As you probably would have guessed, Tina’s working around the clock and fighting her heart out to help Minnesotans survive this crisis. Except now, she’s doing it from home, with help from Moose and me.

But that’s just Tina. I’ve always been blown away by how hard she works and how dedicated she is to helping others.

Now, she needs our help. Tina is facing an important fundraising deadline in just a few short days. It’ll mark the end of this critical quarter, and it’s also when we’ll launch the next phase of this campaign — which brings me to why I’m reaching out to you today:

Listen, I was serving up burgers when I first met Tina. We were in grad school, and now we’ve been married for more than 35 years.

When we moved to Minnesota the summer we got married, we were in our twenties with mounds of school loans and a beat-up orange car with no defroster.

We were the kids driving with the windows down at 20 below to keep ice from forming on the inside of the windshield!

I just want you to know how proud I am of Tina. I wish everyone could see her as I do — the woman who loves her friends and family, bakes pies for our birthdays, laughs a lot, and wears her heart on her sleeve. We have always supported each other, and now I’m glad I can be the one who makes sure she eats dinner when she's home (though I still don't understand why she doesn't love my famous country risotto).

As a Senator, Tina is working as hard as she can to help the people of Minnesota and folks across the country. Fighting for affordable health care, paid sick leave, and so much more. That’s why I’m asking:
