What started as a Republican power grab in Texas has now spread nationwide.

Trump is calling on legislators in every Republican-controlled state to redraw their district maps before the next election. He can’t campaign on his agenda or his disastrous, unpopular Big Bad Bill. The only way for him to keep control of Congress is to tilt the playing field in the middle of the game.

I want you to know: I won’t be silent about this.

It’s long past time to start playing hardball. (Even my most well-mannered Democratic colleagues are waking up to this new reality!)

They can stack the deck against us, but I know this team. We’ve never backed down from a challenge. Together, we won a race against impossible odds in 2018, beat back big money in 2022, and made history in 2024.
