Obama's message to democrats
|
At a recent fundraiser in New Jersey, Barack Obama had a message to Democrats. He said toughen up, don’t despair, have courage, focus on winning races, defend core values, and push back against actions that undermine our democracy.
Yes to all of that. As a party, we need to stay true to the middle class values that have delivered so much progress over the decades. And we need to support candidates who can win. The time to do that is now. There are state and local elections this November and midterms next year. Stay involved, stay engaged, and stay committed and we bring the MAGA control of our government to an end.
I'm committed to doing everything I can to defend my seat in 2026 and help flip the House blue, and I'm grateful to have you by my side.

After withholding $7 million in funds already promised to PA-06, the Department of Education recently said it would release billions of dollars to schools across the country. I want to personally thank Pennsylvania educators and families who took action in calling their representatives, Governor Shapiro, and Democratic Attorneys General for filing suit against this illegal action.
This is a major win for our kids – but our fight to defend public education from Trump and the GOP's attacks continues.
