Friend, how did you get here?
Echoed across the room, someone posed this question last month at our East Coast Membership Convening.
A place where young people from all backgrounds engaged in reflection, strategy, and community — our membership convening reminded us of the power we hold when we unite to protect one another.
Some of us joined this fight inspired by classmates who encouraged us to speak our minds. Others answered a knock on the door from a neighbor or friend. Regardless of how we got here, it’s us, everyday people, who power our movement forward.
And, in this moment of escalating attacks against our immigrant neighbors, we’re the ones to build collective power and fight for a better future than the one that was handed to us.
This retreat was a powerful reminder that we are not alone. Real change starts when we come together to resist, build, and dream. Are you ready to spark change in your community?
