Team, the Trump administration is charging ahead in its mission to dismantle key regulations in the U.S, and we just got bad news for our fight against climate change:

Trump’s head of the Environmental Protection Agency announced that the EPA would revoke the scientific finding that emissions from fossil fuels contribute to climate change — effectively ending the government’s ability to fight to combat climate change.

And worse: the EPA isn’t just giving up on fighting against climate change, they’re canceling BILLIONS of dollars in grants intended to help Americans access affordable solar energy. That makes energy prices MORE expensive for hardworking families, not less.

This is absurd. We simply can’t afford to surrender in the fight against the climate crisis when extreme weather events, high temperatures, and wildfires are on the rise year after year. Ending the EPA’s regulation of greenhouse gasses will put countless lives at risk — just to fill the pockets of Donald Trump’s billionaire friends.
