Whether you're a HAC veteran or a first-timer, we hope you can join other dynamic health advocates from across the country at our annual convening where we will strengthen the movement for health and health care justice.

The Rest of August: Congress in Recess and an Upcoming Webinar
Congress is currently away for August recess. As we have said these past few weeks, members of Congress will be in their districts all month, and it's our job (and yours) to remind them just how harmful their votes to cut health care in HR 1 are. You can use our email writing form to hold your members accountable or thank them for voting against HR 1. We also have a new insights blog for you to reference during this time.
With the passage of HR 1, health care affordability will be more relevant than ever, and it's important that we continue advocating for consumers. That's why we're asking you to sign on to our letter urging Congress to act without delay upon return in September to pass common sense well-vetted policy solutions that would address the healthcare affordability crisis.
We also invite you to join our administrative advocacy webinar on Wednesday, August 27, at 3pm ET, where we will discuss the proposed Trump administrative changes to hospital and physician payment that both advance important policy changes to rein in industry abuses and increase payment for primary care but also that repeal critical requirements to advance health equity, and opportunities to join federal comment letters. You can here.
