Are you interested in learning more about what it takes to become a Teaching Artist?

Our Teaching Artist Program, open exclusively to Los Angeles County residents, trains performing arts and entertainment industry professionals in the art of teaching through a five-week intensive in arts education fundamentals: lesson planning, classroom management, California state arts standards and more. This program offers practicum experience and career support to help you deepen your engagement with the field, as well as an introduction to the robust arts education landscape in Los Angeles and beyond!

During the information session, you will:

  • Discover the benefits of the program
  • Understand the time commitment required to fully participate
  • Learn how to submit a complete application that effectively shares your experience as it relates to arts education
