Hope you’re having a good start to your week! I wanted to reach out briefly as I get the start to my day to give you a few updates on our campaign. 

1. We recently passed the Rural Emergency Hospital Financial Stability Act, legislation designed to support health care facilities facing closure.
2. We’ve secured over $1 billion to expand broadband internet across North Carolina, reaching every corner of our state, no matter how rural. 
3. We’re working hard to expand early childhood access, support our veterans, and protect women’s rights. 

Every day, my team and I are working hard to deliver real results for eastern North Carolina. But friend, last November we won our race by just 6,000 votes and this upcoming election will be even tougher. 

The GOP named me one of their top targets and all eyes will be on NC-01. This is a people-powered campaign and I will need your help to protect this seat. Can I count on you to chip in $5 or whatever you can spare and be part of our grassroots team?
