The floodgates have opened, I’m officially under attack from AIPAC for for saying, “the most truthful and easiest thing to say that Oct 7th in Israel was horrific and all hostages must be returned, but so is the genocide, humanitarian crisis, and starvation happening in Gaza.”
The genocide, humanitarian crisis, and starvation in Gaza aren’t political issues for me, they are issues of my Christian faith. God commands me to walk in truth and love.
He commands me to walk in truth of the Gospel, that Jesus was fully divine and fully human, and who died for our sins and was resurrected in victory over death.
He also commands me to walk in love, by obeying His commandments, including to love one another.
What is happening in Gaza is a violation of God’s commandments and a travesty of humanity, and I refuse to bear false witness for my own political benefit.
What is political about this is that AIPAC is going to bring their immense power to bear against me.
I’m one of the only members of Congress that doesn’t take money from AIPAC and who never has.
I don’t think it’s right. The truth is AIPAC needs to register as a foreign lobbyist by U.S. law because they are representing the secular government of nuclear armed Israel 100%!!!
Look at what just happened, as soon as Congress was let out on recess and supposed to be working in our districts, AIPAC just took a bunch of members of Congress to Israel to make sure they don’t step out of line.
While AIPAC is lying to their donors about me claiming I’m “betraying my American values” the REALITY is AIPAC serves and lobbies for a foreign country, Israel!!
I’m as AMERICAN as they come!
I can’t be bought and I’m not backing down!!
I’m fighting for my children’s generation and for AMERICA ONLY!!!!
