Supporting Flood Recovery in Central Texas
Our deepest sympathies remain with the families and friends who lost loved ones in the Central Texas floods last month. The resilience of Kerr County and the Hill Country continues to guide our recovery, reflecting the strength we find in facing challenges as a community. Texans support one another, grieve together, and rebuild together.
As recovery efforts progress, our spirit of unity is ever-present. From neighbors lending a hand, to first responders on the front lines, and individuals such as our own staff from Fort McKavett, who helped rescue 100 stranded citizens in Menard, Texans have worked tirelessly to ensure everyone’s safety throughout this crisis and its aftermath.

Preserving our shared history starts with passionate people who go above and beyond to keep Texas’ heritage alive. Now’s your chance to shine a spotlight on their passion and dedication.
The THC is calling on communities across the state to nominate outstanding individuals and groups for our annual awards.
