The Department of Interior (DOI) just issued a series of orders that could kill off wind and solar development in America.

Donald Trump’s handpicked Interior Secretary now has to personally approve every clean energy permit, and they’ve made it clear: if it’s not fossil fuels, it’s not happening.

Trump’s vendetta runs so deep that they’re getting increasingly creative in how they’re trying to kill off these projects without explicitly saying it. For instance, a different DOI order says that unless a solar or wind project produces the same energy per acre as coal or gas plants, it cannot be permitted on public lands. That’s absurd. And it’s not about efficiency. It’s about revenge.
