Everywhere I go, folks say the same thing: Housing costs are killing us.
Rent’s too high. Buying a home feels impossible. Fixing a leaky roof? Don’t even ask. 😓
So I’m doing something about it.
My WHOLE-HOME REPAIRS bill is headed to the Senate floor. It’s simple:
We lose good homes to blight and busted plumbing.
That shrinks supply. Prices shoot up. 📈👀
You don’t need a PhD to get it.
My bill gives grants and forgivable loans to fix up homes. Keeps them livable. More homes. Lower prices.
And we know it works – a version of this program is already helping folks in Pennsylvania. 💪
This sh*t matters. When housing costs eat your paycheck, there's less left for food, medicine, or saving a buck. That’s especially tough on our young people and folks with fixed incomes.
