The Trump Administration has cut, frozen, or threatened more than $1 billion in federal funding for my home state of Pennsylvania. Take a look — these dollars represent millions in broken promises, budget holes, and potential job losses across my state.
In Pennsylvania, here's what it looks like:
- $500 million for public health initiatives like infectious disease prevention, long-term care for seniors, and immunizations for children;
- $415 million for students, teachers, and schools;
- $130 million for flood preparedness projects;
- $35 million to increase high-speed internet;
- $13 million for farms and food banks.
Now, let’s consider who this administration DOES choose to protect. Remember when House Speaker Mike Johnson put the House into recess early last month to avoid releasing the Epstein files? Who are they protecting?
I don’t know — but I sure as heck know it’s not the people. I need to know you’re with me during crazy times like these. Can you add your name here and let me know you believe the public deserves the truth about who President Trump cares about?
A Women’s Place is demanding answers. We’re shining a light on the Trump administration’s billion-dollar funding cuts, exposing corruption they’re trying to bury, organizing in must-win districts, and working to protect frontline Democratic candidates most at risk.
If you believe the public deserves the truth instead of coverups and backroom deals, add your name to let me know you’re with me in demanding transparency now.
