Government analysts at the CIA concluded that COVID likely came from a lab in
China. Instead of reporting the facts, their superiors overruled them because
the findings aligned with Trump’s position that the pandemic resulted from a
lab leak.

According to the CIA’s own inspector general, anything that was even “too
pro-Trump” was silenced. They wanted to avoid anything that could support the
president’s message, so they buried the facts.

prioritized politics over the American people’s right to know how the pandemic
