During August, Congress goes on recess - which means your Representatives are home. It also means we’re pausing our Days of Action and focusing our efforts where they matter most right now: in our local communities.

This month, we’re challenging every Country First member to take weekly actions right at home in their local communities. The mission doesn’t change — we’re still holding leaders accountable and standing up for democracy. But now, the fight is at your doorstep.

This week’s action: demand a real, in-person town hall.

We’ve created a Letter to the Editor template you can personalize and submit to your local paper. It’s a powerful way to make sure your Representative knows the people expect to be heard.

Throughout August, we’ll be sending you a new action item each week to keep the momentum going until Congress returns to D.C.

Democracy doesn’t take a recess — and neither will we.
