Affordable housing in the Kingston area: Meeting Aug. 13 explores ongoing projects, options, achievements
Members of the Kingston Affordable Housing Working Group, a program of Kingston Cares [ [link removed] ], will provide an overview of affordable housing efforts in the Kingston area at the next meeting of the Kingston Community Advisory Council. The meeting takes place 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13 at the Village Green Community Center, located at 26159 Dulay Road NE [ [link removed] ].
Longtime housing advocates and Working Group members, Stan Mack, Dave Wetter and Bill Beaudoin will highlight ongoing projects and collaborative initiatives aimed at expanding access to affordable housing in Kingston. Their presentation will also cover the group's recent achievements and outline ways community members can get involved in supporting this important work to actively develop solutions to address local housing challenges.
The meeting is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and participate. The KCAC meeting will also include committee reports, updates on community events and activities, and time for public comment.
