Ralph and I came in as Freshman legislators together in the SC statehouse in 2004. We fought for transparency, fiscal responsibility, and restructuring government. Ralph supported me in my tenure as Governor and fought with me to cut spending, pass tort reform, stop illegal immigration, and more. Ralph endorsed me on day one of my presidential run and was with me every step of the way.
Ralph has moral clarity, stands up for what he believes, and never backs down. He is a conservative warrior and a businessman who has been a leading voice for freedom. I can’t think of anyone better to be the next governor of South Carolina.
He'll face a crowded primary next June, but no one will speak truth to power more than Ralph. I’m proud to support him.
When he’s not busy spending time with his wife of 50 years, four children, and 17 grandchildren, he’s fighting to rein in reckless spending, push for term limits, and make a better future for the next generation.
Ralph has been a consistent voice for common sense and conservative values and he’ll continue to bring that same unwavering conservative backbone to Columbia.
