ADL Alarmed by Brutal Violence Targeting Druze in Syria

expressed deep alarm over reports and videos from Syria's Al-Suwayda region showing brutal violence targeting members of the Druze community—including beatings, humiliation, and executions—reportedly carried out by groups affiliated with the Syrian government. ADL called on the international community to use all available diplomatic tools to protect the Druze and other minorities across Syria.

ADL Supports Changes to Gaza Humanitarian Aid Distribution
In response to all the complexities surrounding the issue of humanitarian aid in Gaza, ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt

issued a statement expressing support for the changes to the aid distribution process, while stating that Hamas alone holds the power to end the war by freeing the hostages. Jonathan also called on Qatar to use its leverage with Hamas leadership, the UN and international community to do more to support aid distribution and emphasized that Israel must continue seeking ways to ease the humanitarian crisis while working to defeat Hamas.
