This is important. Your right to fair representation in your government is under attack, but I assure you that Texas Democrats are fighting as we speak to protect your rights and votes in every way we can.

As you probably saw by now, many of our Texas House Democrats have fled the state to deny Republicans the quorum they need to push through their redistricting scam and silence Texan voters. Democrats had no choice but to respond in kind to their extreme measures, given their unparalleled attack on our democracy.

While their plans may begin in Texas, their corrupt tactics could sweep dangerously across the country and steal Congress for Trump and the GOP for a generation.

Abbott and Texas Republican leaders created an unprecedented political emergency for Texas and America.
