Will you help us fight against extinction?

Monarch

John,

Monarch butterfly numbers have plummeted by 90 percent over the past two decades. Sadly, farming practices have wiped out huge patches of the native milkweed habitat that monarch butterflies must have to survive and the species is faced with other human-caused threats.

We’re in a race against time to save the monarch from disappearing forever—and avert a broader wildlife extinction crisis.

Please join our fight against the extinction crisis and tell your federal elected officials to help save wildlife at-risk by supporting and passing the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act.

There’s no question that we desperately need effective conservation legislation now, John:

  • At least 150 U.S. species have already gone extinct, and another 500 are “missing in action” and may be gone.
  • Since 1973, the Endangered Species Act has helped save 99% of listed species from extinction.
  • But right now, one-third of all wildlife species in America are at increased risk of extinction.

This week, we want to send 20,000 messages to Congress demanding action to address today’s wildlife crisis. Can we count on you to fight the extinction crisis?

John, it’s obvious that we should be taking proactive measures to save at-risk wildlife like monarch butterflies before they’re on the brink of extinction. The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act will help do exactly that by investing in significant on-the-ground wildlife conservation in every state.

Will you tell your elected officials to fight for endangered and at-risk wildlife by supporting the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act?

The Endangered Species Act is like an emergency room for endangered and threatened species in dire need. The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act is designed to prevent species like the treasured monarch from ever getting to the brink of extinction.

We need both emergency and preventative care to ensure a future for America’s wildlife, John. Demand common-sense, science-based legislation to prevent species from becoming endangered now.

Thank you for taking a stand to help wildlife in crisis.
