Trump’s Landmark Deal Is the Key to Peace in the Middle East |
Abraham Accords: President Trump’s Abraham Accords have paved the way for peace in the Middle East. But for some, even that is not enough.
- “Rather than attempting to delegitimize President Trump’s achievement in advancing the Abraham Accords, all who claim to care about the Palestinians or Middle East peace should seek to strengthen these historic agreements and encourage the Palestinians to reject the failures of the past,” write Victoria Coates, vice president of the Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy, and Rob Greenway, director of the Allison Center for National Security.
- The Accords were brokered in 2020 and have continued to expand since.

Wise up: The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, widely known as RICO, has been used to take down criminal enterprises, such as the mafia, since 1970.

- “By including rioting as an activity that falls under RICO, Cruz’s amendment would add a much-needed punch to the powerful statute designed to deter organized criminal enterprises and punish those who fund them,” write Heritage Senior Legal Fellow Cully Stimson and Young Leaders Program intern Brooklyn Scott.
