John,

As the dog days of summer set in, it may be difficult to picture the bitter chill of winter. But for homeless Veterans in states where winters are harsh and unforgiving, the fear of freezing nights is already setting in.

To help these brave men and women prepare for the cold ahead, Soldiers’ Angels has officially launched Operation: Warm Winter [[link removed]].

Now through September 30, we’re collecting blankets, coats, hats, and gloves to help ensure that homeless Veterans across the country are protected from the elements. With your support, we can provide warmth, comfort, and a powerful reminder that they’re not forgotten.

Don’t wait—get involved today. The more we collect during this campaign, the more Veterans we can help survive the cold and feel the warmth of compassion.

Thank you for standing with our heroes—past and present.

P.S. The Washington D.C. VA has asked for our help supplying 250 sleeping bags for an upcoming Stand Down event serving homeless and at-risk Veterans. We’ve added sleeping bags to the Operation: Warm Winter Amazon Wish List, and we need your help to meet this urgent goal. Can you add one—or even a few—to your cart this year?
