I know you’ve heard a lot from me and my team in the past few days – thank you for sticking with me in this fight.

Before tonight’s end-of-month deadline expires, I need to pull back the curtain on what we’re facing in this race.

I’m fed up with the MAGA chaos, and I know I’m not alone.

I’ve traveled across Central and Southern Illinois listening to folks who are scared about the impact of the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” on their families. Folks who don’t know how they will afford health care or put food on the table after billions were gutted from Medicaid and SNAP.

This is not the American Dream. This is not how Illinoisans should be forced to live because Republicans prioritized the MAGA agenda and gave their billionaire donors a tax break.

I’m pushing back hard from my position in Congress – and we’re making progress. But there is only so much we can do without the House majority.

It’s what makes keeping IL-13 blue essential, and we need to prepare for the attacks to come. I have two GOP challengers in this race who are itching to flip this seat and secure another two years of Republican control.
