Good evening. It’s Antonio Delgado – one more email from me before our deadline hits later tonight.

We are about to close the books on our fundraising for the last month. This campaign has accomplished so much, and I’m so proud of all the work that we’ve put in. We are well on our way to building a winning movement.

But put all that aside. I want to tell you a quick story.

You see, I’m no stranger to tough campaigns.

When I ran for Congress in 2018, the establishment said someone like me had no business running in a rural, 90% white district.

We won that race by 5% – then won reelection by 12%, flipping Trump counties and winning in places no Democrat ever had.

So I am not fazed when that same Democratic establishment tries to downplay my campaign for Governor.

This is the New York establishment that lost four Democratic-held House seats in 2022 — and backed Joe Biden until the very last minute. We can’t afford to let them keep running the same failed playbook.

I’m running for Governor because New Yorkers deserve better. I have a plan to make housing affordable, healthcare accessible, and child care universal. Yes, I may be the underdog — but that’s never stopped me before.

And I’m hopeful that you’ll join me in this fight!
