Nearly 1 in 5 Americans nationwide rely on Medicaid for primary care, elder care, children’s health care, and more. That includes 1.8 million Washingtonians, with 47% of children in our state being covered by Medicaid.

Slashing Medicaid funding to pay for tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy and corporations will be disastrous and deadly.

On the 60th anniversary of Medicaid’s enactment, we’re taking a stand for our communities and showing the GOP that their cruel budget bill will not be without consequences.
