Friend,
America’s gun violence epidemic should dominate the news like it dominates the American psyche – instead, our lawmakers are distracted by Donald Trump’s dangerous agenda that puts favors to his corrupt friends above the safety of the American people.
Our lives are at stake and we’re sick of being ignored – will you help us get our lawmakers focused on what really matters by sending them an urgent call to action now? Sign Brady’s petition to demand action from Congress to end gun violence and save lives. >> [[link removed]]

The Trump Administration touts being ‘tough on crime,’ yet they consistently prove their allegiance lies with their crooked friends and the gun industry's bottom line.
In only six months of holding the presidency, Trump has been increasingly distracted by diverting attention away from his connection to Jeffrey Epstein while ignoring the over 250 mass shootings that have happened this year alone.
The Trump Administration has empowered the Attorney General to restore gun rights to anyone, removing the power from the ATF, the agency in charge of enforcing our nation’s gun laws. Convicted domestic abuser and friend of Trump, Mel Gibson, had his rights to own firearms restored and when a DOJ attorney spoke out against it, she was fired.
This is part of a long term effort by the administration, bolstered by the gun lobby to increase their profits, to allow guns in the hands of prohibited purchasers, including convicted domestic abusers. We cannot accept lawmakers who ignore the plight of victims of gun crimes while manipulating the law to benefit their own misguided interests.
Lawmakers will return to their states this month and leave the political bubble of Washington, D.C., that is saturated with distractions about Trump and his enablers. It’s time to break through the noise and make our lawmakers hear the voice of the American people.
Send an urgent message to Congress and urge them to address the American gun violence epidemic NOW! >> [[link removed]]
