Traffic Advisory - Road Closure August 1
The Oswego Police Department will be closing Douglas Road between Route 34 and Wolf Road on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to accommodate funeral services and a procession honoring Firefighter/Paramedic Roberto Flores of the Oswego Fire Protection District, who recently passed from occupational cancer.
Funeral traffic will be allowed through the closure.
All businesses in Gerry Centennial Plaza and Oswego Commons will remain open and accessible, though traffic patterns may be adjusted. We recommend using Route 34 entrances and exits to avoid delays.
We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we support the family, friends, and colleagues of Firefighter/Paramedic Roberto Flores during this time of remembrance.
Oswego Police Department to Undergo National Reaccreditation Assessment
