Three great reasons - one long western trail
In search of a unique Nebraska destination, multiple reasons to plan a trip AND a flexible schedule to fit in those visits? You need to mosey on over and check out the Cowboy Trail. You are invited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the trail with a fun range of activities on Sept. 5. While there, or any time before the end of October, your visit can include participation in Your Parks Adventure: Trail Trek. Snakes of Nebraska
Think you don't like snakes? Learning more about this slithery species might help you appreciate their role in the natural world. Schramm Education Center is hosting the perennially popular Snakes of Nebraska event Aug. 9 and 10. You'll be able to view most of Nebraska's 29 snake species, ask questions and even participate in some live snake encounter activities.

Hunter Ed
Summer is in full swing, but hunting season is just around the corner. For any aspiring hunters, now is a great time to take a Hunter Education class. Online, in-person and hybrid classes are available and teach a range of safe hunting skills. Both firearm and bowhunter classes are offered. Outdoor Nebraska has almost limitless opportunities for recreation, relaxation, learning and adventure. Our staff love to spread this message through outreach, education and all type of communications. Some of these efforts were recently recognized on a national level by the Association for Conservation Information.

 Red Willow SRA hosts Family Fun Night
