Friend, this isn’t the email I want to send today — but here we are.

I’m running for Minnesota’s wide-open U.S. Senate seat. Inside Elections officially declared this a top four battleground race in the midterms, so I’m a major Republican target . The GOP’s attack ads, smear campaigns and millions from megadonors will start flooding in soon. We need to be prepared for everything they throw our way. Of course, I’ve seen and fought this before.

If we fail to meet our $500K end-of-month goal by midnight, we may have to make some tough decisions — like pulling down our digital ads that help us reach voters and scaling back on hiring campaign staff. And right now, we’re dangerously behind.

So this is my final plea, friend: Will you split $10 between iVote Fund and me before midnight? [[link removed]]

I can’t do this without you,

iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.

Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.

Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

We need a massive coalition to register new voters and protect our right to vote in this election and beyond.

We know you get a lot of emails, but it's only because this fight is so important. We need you to stick with us long term. But if you must go, you can unsubscribe.
