Tonight’s our end-of-month deadline, and I have a major decision to make.

With national Republicans already attacking me on the air, I need to decide whether we can afford to launch response ads and pay for a critical poll to see where I stand against my new GOP opponent.

Together, this will cost us about $48,000. I know it’s a lot, but I don’t see any other choice. I can’t greenlight either unless we hit our fundraising goal by midnight.
