John, it's Jay, the Maine Democratic Party's new Field Director. One of the most critical parts of running a strong campaign is having boots on the ground in every community and meeting people where they're at.

That's why we're expanding our field operations across the state and hiring organizers to mobilize voters everywhere from York County up to Aroostook County.

I’ve only been here on the team for a week, but I’m already interviewing potential field organizers for the counties on the map above. But building our team isn't cheap, and we need to make sure we have the resources we need to bring on board.
