Dear John,

Today would have been Milton Friedman’s birthday.

I had the great privilege of meeting him early in my career at Atlas Network at our 20th anniversary dinner, and like millions of others, I was deeply shaped by his ideas. I can tell you he had the same intellectual clarity and Happy Warrior spirit in private that he displayed in his many public engagements you’ve probably seen clips from on social media.

Milton Friedman was also a close friend of our founder, Sir Antony Fisher, and helped inspire the creation of Atlas Network more than 40 years ago. His legacy is still very much alive.

To honor Friedman’s birthday, we’ve put him on the cover of the latest issue of Freedom’s Champion magazine, with a feature story I wrote reflecting on how his example shapes the worldwide freedom movement to this day.
