I hate to be begging you for financial help again, but before we close the books on July, I have to ask:

Will you donate $1,000 today to join our Summer Book Club and help eliminate our election debt?

We haven't yet met our July fundraising target, but with just over 24 hours to go there's still time to change that. We did so well in June that we were able to send more than $100K to the bank to pay down our loan. That was very encouraging, but our debt is still over $600,000 and we need to retire it as fast as we can.

With what remains of July, this offer is still open:

Donate $1,000 and I’ll send you a personally inscribed copy of my newly updated book, Paradise Won — the true story of the 12-year fight to protect Gwaii Haanas and create a national park reserve.

Then, on August 22, you’ll be invited to join me and fellow supporters for a special Summer Book Club gathering on Zoom.
