One thing is certain: all our communities are going to feel the deadly consequences of the disastrous new budget. We are facing the largest health care cuts in history – all to fund massive tax cuts to billionaires and ICE deportations and detentions that are terrorizing our communities. Millions will have their coverage ripped away while care workers lose their jobs and their health care.
This livestream is a chance to hear directly from movement leaders, impacted people, union organizers, and elected officials about what’s in the bill – and how together we can break open the next phase of the fight to protect our care.
It will feature speakers from across our networks, a performance by Taina Asili and Pauline Pisano, and will ensure our communities have the resources we need to keep fighting by sharing toolkits and actions to take now and later.
Join us TONIGHT to mark the 60th anniversary of Medicaid and Medicare by coming together in community to organize and plan for the next phase of this fight – click here to join! [[link removed]]

As always, thanks for all you do,

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.
Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
