MAGA Republicans are involved in a cover-up, John. They’re pulling out all the stops to protect Donald Trump from accountability for his well-documented personal ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

First, Republican leadership in the House decided to go on recess early because they don’t want to have to cast votes on this issue — or actually do their jobs.

Then, the Trump Department of Justice decided to grant partial immunity to top Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell — and Trump won’t rule out a full pardon, saying he’s “allowed to do it.”

I’m disgusted.

My fellow Democrats and I are working to hold Trump accountable day in and day out. We’re leading the fight for the release of all information and justice for Epstein’s victims. 

In fact, my colleagues and I in the House Oversight Committee just forced a subpoena to get to the truth. And I announced a resolution opposing clemency for Maxwell, Epstein’s co-conspirator.
